There are very few artists who could successfully pull off what Beyoncé has managed to do on BEYONCÉ, her fifth studio album, which she released as a complete surprise to fans and critics - she took a major risks and they have piad off in full. Jay Z, Drake, Frank Ocean, Pharrell Williams and the videos come with big name directors like Terry Richardson and Hype Williams. The album has no "singles," and is available exclusively on iTunes for $15.99, and is meant to be experienced by fans as a complete artistic expression instead of the bits and pieces that normally get released for highly anticipated albums like this.

Beyoncé said: “I didn’t want to release my music the way I’ve done it, I am bored with that. I feel like I am able to speak directly to my fans. There’s so much that gets between the music, the artist and the fans.  I felt like I didn’t want anybody to give the message when my record is coming out. I just want this to come out when it’s ready and from me to my fans.
