The Star Wars Battlefront beta was released on Thursday and already, people are tweeting about how amazing it is! Weāve been checking it out and aside from the sheer coolness to be playing something in the Star Wars universe, the visuals are incredible! Video Game Voice Actors Vote to Strike 62u1b
Your favorite voice actors for video games have voted to strike. Now, that doesnāt mean itās happening yet. It just means that the National Board the authority to do so. SAG-AFTRA Union voted 96.52 percent in favor of the strike. Here is part of the official announcemenāt
āIt is important to note that the referendum result does not mean that are on strike, rather, it gives the National Board the authority to declare a strike.Ā A 75% āyesā vote was required to give the National Board that authority.
With this result in hand, the Negotiating Committee will seek to return to the bargaining table and continue to press for a fair resolution on behalf of performers working in video games. The Interactive Media Agreement expired on December 31st, 2014. Bargaining sessions held in February and June of this year failed to produce an agreement.ā
So, what are they asking for? The union would like bonus pay for games that sell more than two million copies, stun coordinators for possibly dangerous motion capture sessions, knowing the title of the game theyāre auditioning for and limits on vocally stressful recording sessions. Call of Duty Black Ops III Gets a Weekly Video Series 554u17
Today we learned that Call of Duty: Black Ops III will get a weekly video series starting this Friday and every Friday through the end of this month. Each week, Activision and Treyarch will show us ānew, never-before-seenā footage on the Call of Duty YouTube channel.
The āBlack Ops Fridaysā videos will begin at noon PDT/3pm EDT and youāll get to see developer interviews and fan questions answered as well.Ā Call of Duty: Black Ops III will launch on November 6th.
