If playing games online on your Nintendo Switch then you must be a subscriber to Nintendo Switch Online, as the service is required to play games like Super Smash Bros. Ultimate or Mario Kart 8 Deluxe on the internet. However, that's not the only perk to g up for the service as you'll also get access to a library of NES games slightly modernized with a few new features. The collection of games isn't the entire NES library so Nintendo slowly adds in a few new titles into the lineup, now they're also throwing a new feature onto these older games that could make things a little easier.

Like we'd mentioned, these two new games are part of a package of over 50 games available in the service. If you haven't had the chance to play many older games this is one of the best ways to see what made the NES such a special part of video game history. If you're looking for something other than the new titles introduced this month then check out a true classic like Super Mario Bros. or The Legend of Zelda

Nintendo's New Rewind Feature 5z6i4

Older games are considered to be much more challenging than much of what we're playing today and these NES games are no exception, fortunately, the team at Nintendo came up with a solution to make things easier. Holding down ZL and ZR will rewind your game back to a point of your choosing so you can pull Mario out of a fallen ledge or try again to dodge an attack in Donkey Kong. You'll still be faced with a tough time if you're hoping to finish these games but this simple feature gives you infinite opportunities to try any challenge again.
