Skies of Arcadia is the first role-playing game for the Sega Dreamcast and they're starting with a bang. You enter the world of Arcadia as Vyse, captain of the Blue Rogues, the noblest Sky Pirates in the land. Your adventure starts when you rescue a young girl from the Empire of Valua and end up in a battle to save the world.

Once you stop staring at the graphics you'll be able to sink your teeth into the story and try to figure out what everyone's up to. There are a heap of characters you can ally with, half have their own plans though, so watch out.The only weak point in the Skies of Arcadia is the combat. You can't get 10 steps without tripping over a monster and the fights are awkward. It takes a while to build up your power attacks so there's no way to wipe out critters quickly.
